some would say a fresh start…
this week the hard drive on my macbook crashed. i died. you have to understand that if there was a fire in my house the first thing i would grab would be my macbook, leather coat and as many clothes as possible… that being said i never backed up my hard drive.
i never thought i’d see the day where my greatest asset pretty much disappeared into cyberspace..? i felt like carrie in that episode of sex and the city.
i was most sad about all my pictures i lost… anyways, almost all is well now thanks to ipodrip and this very very lovely application called photobook. this app allows you to log into your facebook account and look at every single one of your friends’ albums. this resulted in about 150,000 albums totaled from all my friends. thankfully there is a search option. you are able to upload entire albums into your iphoto in a matter of seconds…
god, although technology failed me this time, it still finds a way to surprise and amaze me!
