This summer why not brighten up your typical beauty routine with a rainbow coloured makeup bag!  Instead of 80s blue eyeshadow, think lipstick of all colours (orange, purple, hot pink).  If you’re more of a wallflower and don’t think you can pull off these statement lips, try dressing up your fingertips in polish of any shade (yellow, neons, blue).

And hey, do you remember when you used to colour your hair with kool-aid or a highlighter when bored in middle school?  Well this look is also back.  Go for a tie-dyed look by colouring just the tips of your hair.  This may be easier or create stronger statement for blondes, but can work with any hair colour.  Just remember to use a semi-permanent dye, like Manic Panic, that will wash out in a couple of days.  Also this look may not be very office appropriate, so if you’ll be spending the majority of your summer in a cubicle and not in a cabana (like me!), maybe try it out for the weekend.
