2012 – it’s a wrap
When looking back on the year it’s hard to believe how quickly the time passes. 2012 flew by and I honestly feel like I was ringing in the year only a few months ago. This was a year that offered many changes, and I’m happy to move into a new year. This one is mine, I just feel it. If the last two weeks are any foreshadowing of 2013, then I am greeting it with a curious smile. Cheers!

2012 Goal Recap:
1) I work in marketing by June 30/12 – sometimes an obstacle (being laid off) is just an excuse to achieve your goal (new job in retail marketing June 18)! 2) I save $10,000 by Jan 31/13 – saved just under my goal, so let’s just round up why don’t we! I guess I anticipated the need for an extra month of saving, hence the Jan 31 deadline. 3) I read 6 books by Dec 31/12 – before 2012 I was a slow reader, now I’m a reader – 12 books cover to cover. 4) I practice yoga 2 to 3 times a week – for 85% of 2012, I practiced yoga at least twice a week. And, I got Kayla to join me by the end of the year too! 5) I have a new hobby by Mar 31/12 – does reading count? Also dipped into DIY-ing, and juicing later in the year.
((2012 Reads – top reads: Room, Still Alice / skip this book: Paris A Love Story))

I loved this – funny though, catcher and the rye and perks are my two absolute favourites – sorry to see they didn’t make your top reads list!
Congrats on achieving all those goals this year! I’m so proud of you!
