The Concert Tee

The t-shirt will always be a staple. Whether it’s a v-neck, crew neck, waffle knit, or concert tee, this staple brings a comfort and familiarity that just might trump all those other high and mighty pieces in your wardrobe. There’s something about the concert t-shirt. It might be the nostalgia it brings with a lingering memory of the set list, or maybe you found this tee at a vintage shop, and its cotton is perfectly worn. Either way, I think this is the perfect graphic tee, and of course we all know how I love to throw a t-shirt on just when things are starting to feel a little too girly.

Today’s concert tee, is one that is not so vintage, but brings me back to the weekend that may have ended my August on a high note, Mumford & Sons’ Gentleman of the Road. Paired with BDG black, high-waisted jeans (does anyone wear blue denim anymore? I know I don’t), this combination completed my casual Friday. While some questioned my concert tee on a Friday, I think it was just right.
